Hoping that everything will be alright tomorrow is not going to work in this case. You may or may not realise that most lenders will give you a grace period of around 30 days, but after this your credit score will be negatively affected.
Learning this simple fact has helped many people keep their heads above water. This is simply learning to maintain good financial health. This in itself usually has to be learned, as it is not a natural ability for most people. Including me! And, teaching should begin at school, the earlier the better.
There are many courses that one can take which teach how to obtain and maintain a good credit score. Even in these trying times, it is important to remember that there are things that can be done. For me it was finding a good financial advisor, and not just listening to him, but following his instructions to the letter. I’m not going to say it was easy, in fact it was quite painful, but at least the systems are in place and providing I stick to the plan then hopefully I will be able to ride out these difficult times.
